The Artichoke is delighted to have been awarded its first Michelin star and this is a fantastic time for a talented Assistant Restaurant Manager to join this forward-thinking creative restaurant offering modern fine dining combined with a high level of personable, professional service. The contemporary interior revolves around the culinary theatre of an open kitchen and a private dining room with its own wine cellar. The restaurant is set in the beautiful Chiltern Hills with close links to London and features the innovative cuisine of award-winning Chef Patron Laurie Gear, Head Chef Ben Jenkins and their Team.

The successful Assistant Restaurant Manager should have the following qualities:

  • Good business acumen and excel skills, experience of cost and sales reporting.
  • Proven previous experience in a similar high level of restaurant service at least 3 Rosette+.
  •  Experience of reservations and private dining bookings.
  • An ability to train others to a high standard. Well presented with personality, charisma and excellent communication skills.
  • You should have a passion for fine food, wines and delivering outstanding customer service and highly motivated to be a part of an existing professional and driven team.

· A five-day week (the restaurant is closed on a Sunday and Monday)

·  28 days holiday including Christmas and New Year as the restaurant is closed for this period.
