We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our small team of passionate culinary and front-of-house stars at The Bulls Head, Foolow, a family-owned pub in the heart of the Peak District. Following its acquisition in 2019, extensive works have been carried out in order to better reflect the style and ethos this now busting country inn has to offer.
Our passion as a family, is fresh, seasonal food using local ingredients in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Whether it’s a post-walk pint in the sun trap of the pub’s frontage or rich in flavour meal perched at the end of the bar in front of an open fire. The Bull’s Head is all about old school done exceptionally well!
As Commis Chef, you will work in all areas to learn how the kitchen operates. The position will allow you to learn a restaurant’s culinary procedures, build stamina to handle high-pressure situations, and learn about multiple duties so that you can better determine your goals for career advancement. The job allows you to prove your commitment while working under different section chefs.
