Commis Chef - Main Kitchen Expiring soon

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef to join our team.

Exceptional food is an essential ingredient of the Royal Garden Hotel experience and we are currently seeking to recruit a Commis Chef who will be working as a team member and fulfilling their duties as requested. To also provide an agreed and consistent standard of food service, under the supervision of those within the Kitchen.

This position will help bring to life our new restaurant concept where provenance is a produce driven modern British restaurant where seasonality is celebrated in comfort and style. Cooking is heartfelt, wholesome and we treat our beautiful ingredients with the respect and care that they deserve! From farm to fork!

Key responsibilities:

• Ensures that the service is properly set up and on time for each service period.
• Fills out production charts for each shift and ensure that all mise en place is completed before service.
• Carries out regular checks on food to ensure proper rotation and storage (all items to be covered with cling film, dated and labelled).
