We are a small hospitality Company looking to recruit a Chef de Partie for our newly opened Pub, The Black Swan in Lower Withington, Cheshire. Having started out in 2017 with a Café & Lifestyle Store in central Wilmslow, in 2020 we set our sights on a closed down Pub in rural Cheshire to add a new dimension to our business.
We are a busy little place, serving a 'nose to tail' locally sourced food menu. Our friendly brigade is well versed and disciplined and now requires an extra pair of hands. Our customer base is already very loyal and covers a broad demographic. We aim to be a friendly destination Pub where you can also get a mid-week feed. The menu is intentionally short and well executed with a specials board that always surprises. We cook our food from scratch and are looking for an individual with previous experience in either a gastropub or good quality fresh food restaurant.
Our setting is right next door to the Jodrell Bank Observatory. We have fantastic rural views and a beautiful outside dining space and pizza oven. Inside, our interior is paired down with open fires and a lovely big bar area.
Our ambition is to be a friendly Pub offering consistently good fresh food coupled with excellent service and great wines and ales.
