Accounting Director
Location: Berlin
Languages: Fluent German and English required
Salary: €80,000 - 90,000
We are looking for an experienced Accounting professional to lead the accounting function within a growing international hospitality business.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting while developing processes, systems, and the wider finance team to support the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the national and international accounting team
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS requirements
- Drive the standardisation and improvement of accounting processes across international entities
- Support consolidation and group reporting
- Develop systems, automation, and reporting processes
- Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other external partners
- Support wider finance projects and the continued growth of the business
About You
- Several years of experience in accounting, ideally in a senior or leadership position
- Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS
- Experience working within an international environment
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and process improvement
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- Structured, analytical, and commercially minded
- Fluent German and English
