Head Canapé Chef - Luxury Events - South West London
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: South West London / Events across London
Hours: 45 hours | Approx. 80% Monday-Friday
I'm recruiting a specialist Head Canapé Chef for a leading luxury events operation, producing exceptional food for some seriously impressive events across London.
This is a senior role for a chef with real finesse, creativity and technical skill who understands how to produce fine-dining quality canapés at scale without losing the detail.
Salary & Benefits

The Operation
- Luxury private and corporate events across London.
- Intimate private dinners through to 1,000-guest gala events.
- High-end central production kitchen.
- Fine-dining food and exceptional presentation.
- Busy seasonal events calendar.
- Combination of CPU production and live event delivery.
The Role
- Take complete ownership of the canapé section.
- Lead production, preparation and event delivery.
- Develop and refine new canapés alongside the development chefs.
- Maintain exceptional quality across high-volume production.
- Plan effectively for multiple events and tight deadlines.
- Lead a permanent team of 2-3, growing to around 6-8 chefs during peak periods.
About You
- Head Chef, Senior Sous or specialist Canapé Chef.
- Luxury events or high-end hotel banqueting background.
- Exceptional canapé and fine-dining knowledge.
- Strong high-volume production experience.
- Calm, organised and confident leading a brigade.
- Obsessed with detail, consistency and presentation.
