Head Chef - Contract Catering New

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Paid Overtime
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday-Friday | Predominantly daytime

I'm recruiting a Head Chef for a prestigious financial institution in Central London, leading a large workplace dining and hospitality operation.

This is a brilliant role for a creative chef who can deliver an exciting 800-cover retail offer alongside high-end corporate hospitality and fine dining.

The Operation

• Around 1,600 people based on-site
• Retail serving up to 800 covers
• Breakfast and lunch
• Multiple food counters
• Large deli and salad offer
• Hospitality from working lunches to fine dining
• Established culinary team of around 10

The Role

• Lead both retail and hospitality
• Manage and develop the kitchen team
• Drive food quality and presentation
• Take ownership of menu development
• Create fresh, modern workplace dining
• Deliver refined fine-dining hospitality
• Manage food costs, labour and kitchen standards
• Support evening hospitality when required

About You

• Experienced Head Chef or strong senior kitchen leader
• Premium B&I, restaurant, hotel or hospitality background
• Strong across both high-volume retail and fine dining
• Excellent menu development skills
• Creative and genuinely passionate about food
• Commercially aware and highly organised
• Confident developing an established team

There's also an exciting major refurbishment planned for the operation, including the development of a completely new kitchen. The Head Chef will have the opportunity to be closely involved in shaping the kitchen and future food offer.
