An exceptional opportunity for a Head Chef to join a prestigious west London neighbourhood gem, working alongside an industry-respected chef director to elevate a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant.
The Role
We are seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at 90 cover renowned British grill restaurant in the heart of West London. This is a project role for an experienced, commercially astute Head Chef who can lead the kitchen, drive consistency, and build a high-performing team.
You will have significant autonomy to improve operations, manage P&L, improve profitability.
The Restaurant
- Michelin Guide-listed, British grill-focused neighbourhood restaurant.
- Up to 200 covers per day
- Lunch and dinner service
- Recently refurbished kitchen.
The Head Chef Role
- Lead a brigade of 10-12 chefs.
- Drive consistency, food quality, and service standards.
- Manage P&L, cost control, payroll, and wastage.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Contribute to monthly set menu changes and specials.
- Recruit , motivate and train the kitchen team.
- Work autonomously while reporting to the chef director.
The Ideal Head Chef
- Experienced Head Chef with strong financial acumen.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, cost control, payroll, and budgeting.
- Comfortable with British/European cuisine and grill-focused menus.
- Hands-on leader who can manage a team
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Previous Michelin Guide experience desirable but not essential.
- Someone who sees this as a project and is ready to make a real impact.
