Hours: Around 80% Monday-Friday | Typically 8am-4/5pm

I'm recruiting a Head Chef for a premium London catering business, taking ownership of a busy central production kitchen and leading food delivery across an exciting events portfolio.

This is a production-led Head Chef role with plenty of variety – overseeing everything from canapés and bowl food through to plated dining and live events.

Salary & Benefits

• £60,000-£65,000 salary

The Operation

• Premium London events and catering
• Busy central production kitchen
• Corporate events form the core business
• Private events and occasional weddings
• Canapés, bowl food and plated dining
• Production through to live event delivery

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day kitchen operation
• Manage production across multiple events
• Organise chefs, prep schedules and deadlines
• Drive consistency, presentation and food quality
• Develop and support junior chefs
• Work closely with development and tasting chefs
• Oversee food from production through to event delivery
• Support live events when required

About You

• Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up.
• Confident running a busy production kitchen.
• Strong people management and organisation.
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
• Excellent fresh-food background.
• Calm, hands-on and quality focused.
• Events experience isn't essential.
• The right attitude and leadership style are key.

There can be 1-2 evening events per week during busier periods, but additional hours are balanced through TOIL.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a strong kitchen leader who wants £60,000-£65,000, predominantly Monday-Friday hours and exposure to premium events without needing to come directly from an events background.
