Sous Chef - Dorset
Up to £29,362 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday - Thursday 7am - 3.30pm Friday 7am - 1pm
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Sous Chef for our dedicated catering team in Dorset, producing outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in this prestigious contract. You would manage the kitchen with the head chef and 2 others in the team.
- Services: Breakfast and Lunch
- c. 400 customers on site
- Covering head chef duties whilst away
- Working along side the head chef to assist in devising, ordering and collating weekly menus
- Responsibility alongside the head chef of every day HSE standards
- Maintain the centre of excellence in food and customer service.
- Working alongside the head chef in managing all areas of the kitchen and the Team to ensure standards and service levels do not drop
- Able to work as a team member and lead the team when required
- Previous experience working in a high volume, high quality environment
- Previous experience working in a B&I contract preferred
- Experience in working to an achievable GP
- Stock and Waste control experience
- Understanding of food management systems HACCP, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Natasha's Law, Allergens and Manual Handling.
