  • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of professional athletes
  • Collaborate on the creation of diverse and balanced menus, ensuring a variety of options that cater to different dietary requirements and preferences
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene are maintained
  • Assist in the ordering and management of kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and minimising waste
  • Maintain strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Support the culinary team in catering for special events, including team meetings, staff functions, and guest visits
  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen
  • Culinary Arts degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and styles
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for athletes is a plus
  • Passion for cooking and a commitment to culinary excellence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
